This Sunday night, December 11th, he will be the featured artist on “Jazz From The Archives”, a one hour radio broadcast (11:00pm to 12:00am) on Newark’s WBGO 88.30 FM. Jazz trumpeter Andy Gravish (b. 1961) has been on the scene for almost three decades, but he has gotten almost no attention from the jazz press. However, some of the most discriminating jazz trumpeters hold him in the highest esteem.
The program is hosted by BILL KIRCHNER, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, educator, author and Grammy winner . BILL is an exceptional and inspirational presence in New York’s Jazz Community, and I hope you can tune in or listen live at www.wbgo.org.
